OILCAP 158 Oil Detector

The Oil Contamination Alarm, model OILCAP 158, measures capacitance between its rod and the walls of the water tank. A lower capacitance indicates a higher oil concentration in the water. The OILCAP 158 features an adjustable alarm limit; when capacitance drops below the set threshold (indicating increased oil concentration), it activates a relay with opening and closing contacts after a 1-second delay. If capacitance rises above the set value (indicating decreased oil concentration), the relay deactivates after an adjustable delay ranging from 0 to 30 seconds, in 2-second increments. Additionally, the OILCAP 158 includes an alarm relay to signal power failure.
